Lite or Full App?
Q: What are the main differences between the Full and Lite app?
A: The Full app downloads the videos to your mobile device so that you can view them thereafter without having to be online. Great for when you know you won’t have any signal.
In addition as well as no advertisements in the Full app there are unlimited levels in the game and 5 bedtime stories.
All these features take up more room; the Full app is up to 280MB whereas the Lite is less than 30MB.
Q: I can’t see the lyrics for the karaoke songs
A: The lyrics are automatically shown on the karaoke songs in the Full app. To view the lyrics in the Lite app turn the button to “On”
Q: I’m an Apple user and bought the Full app but can’t hear anything!
A: Firstly be assured that the app comes with sound! Here’s a brief explanation:
We squeezed 4GB+ of videos into less than 300MB. In order to get this incredible compression we had to be clever with our programming so that videos (in the Full app) use the native player in the iOS. The lite app streams from YouTube and therefore doesn’t rely on Apple’s OS to playback the videos.
Also, important further notes; before Apple make any app available they scrutinise each one heavily before approving. We’ve sold thousands of copies and they’re all the same
Second note: this only affects Apple users and not Android users. Why? because of the way Apple’s OS integrates the volume. It means you’ll need to check *both* the mute button and your volume settings (within settings).
Third note – how to resolve (simple solution!)
Go to Settings -> General -> Use Side Switch to -> set to Mute
Toggle the side switch button (small plastic button next to volume control) to the right. A red dot will show on the button. The mute symbol (headphone with a slash through it) will appear briefly. Make sure the audio level is turned up using the volume control button. Mute has been toggled OFF. Now you can switch the side switch to Rotation Lock or to Mute if you like. When you open the app again, the sound should be playing just fine!
Q: Do you have a DVD or CD of your videos?
A: Not yet. We hope to have downloadable versions of videos available within the next 12 months
